Darcy Douglas (Director-Secretary of the Board)
Darcy is the Development Director for Breakthrough Houston, an organization that strives to close the education achievement gap by providing academic enrichment programs for low income students as well as encouraging college students to pursue careers as educators. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 with a degree in Corporate Communications, and from South Texas College of Law in 2007 with her J.D. Before law school she was a political fundraiser in Washington, DC. She serves as the Clerk of the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church, and enjoys running, cooking, and finding new authors to read at the Houston Public Library.
