Gena is an Episcopal Priest and the Vicar of Grace Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas. She also serves as the Ecumenical and Interfaith Committee Chair for the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. She actively engages in dialogue with people of different faith traditions and cultures to gain a better understanding of God’s dynamic movement in our multi-religious world as reflected in the hearts and minds of all people. The vision and mission of Saint Julian Press to promote understanding and acceptance through literary dialogue offers a unique opportunity for mutual understanding and peace that is much needed in our world today. Gena’s spiritual path has called her not only into the priesthood; it led her to become a Spiritual Director and a Benedictine Oblate with the World Community for Christian Meditation.
