Down To The Boats – The Men Go
Down to the boats
The men go
The weathered men
The rough men
The men bent
From the weight
Of the traps and nets
They cast into the sea
And reel in
With a look of hope
For fins and claws
Dipped in gold
A roiling sea is where
The men go
The weathered men
The rough men
The men bent
From the weight
Of the traps and nets
They cast into the sea
And reel in
On anchored legs
Their traps and nets
Filled with captured hope
